Sunday in Hawaii
As you vacation in Hawaii you
may spend the Sabbath day there. While
life goes on as normal for some my family and I love to take time out from
playing to worship on the Island. Of
course I believe each person has the right to choose how, where, or what they
worship but I would encourage you to take time out to thank the Lord for the
blessing of having the means whereby to get to Hawaii and take time out. Hawaii
is beautiful because the Lord made it that way and what better way to show him
thanks than by obeying the law of the Sabbath on that Holy Day.
As a member of The Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, or the Mormons, I invite you to attend the
church wherever you may find yourself.
Generally when I have been in Hawaii we have stayed at the Lagoon or
Rainbow towers of the Hilton Hawaiian Village and there is an LDS Chapel just a
few minutes away. It’s a beautiful
open-air building, the whole chapel is surrounded by folding doors letting the
fresh air come right in. It’s a great
Hawaiian way to worship.

For those wishing to attend a worship
service of their own choosing I suggest you simply use Google Maps to find a
Cathedral or other place of worship in the are in which you area vacationing.
